Seems like you didn't know the spawn mechanics when you went into this, which means you got lucky you found them fairly quickly! New Pokémon don't respawn until you KO, catch, or scare something away, so if you don't find something on your first pass, you need to start catching or killing stuff so they respawn. The other way is for them to despawn when a distortion appears (which is how your sealeo showed up), or if they are a day or night only Pokémon that disappears during the time-of-day change (which is how you got gastly and beautifly). I had to get intimately familiar with the spawn mechanics when doing the Perfect Pokédex Quest, but people who do a lot of re-zoning to the village usually aren't that familiar with how it works while staying on the map.

Your love for shiny Pokémon and the lengths you go for them honestly impresses me. This was also a clever idea for content that I haven’t seen yet and as always the narration pacing and use of music was great. One of my new favorite channels for sure. Can’t wait for the next upload

I remember catching 3 full odds shinies in the fieldlands while farming crafting stuff. It was all in less than the span of an hour. It was a buneary, starly, and combee. Shit was wild.

I just did this challenge (with the shiny charm) and it took me around 4 hours to complete. OF-Drifloon ~30min CM-Croagunk ~15min CC-Tentacool 34min CH-Parasect ~1hr5min AI-Pikachu 1hr37min Icelands ended with a distortion that I was very thankful for but boy this was fun to do

I've done this challenge twice. My best time is 2h 34m (with Shiny Charm). It's a really fun challenge! Good job!

i remember first playing this when it came out and during the tutorials they force you into i found a shiny shinx almost instantly and i was like gobsmacked. this game is so good when you find the shinies because sometimes its such a surprise
