One of Cartoon Network's most iconic partner studios, Primal Screen, is shutting down. Primal Screen was responsible for Cartoon Network's iconic programming blocks and eras - The Powerhouse Era, Cartoon Cartoon Fridays, Redraw Your World, and more. After a few decades, though, it's time to say goodbye.

Cartoon Network's Partner Studio must not shut down!
  • Loved these iconic CN bumpers. They showcased some of the most iconic characters in Animation. You will be missed Primal Screen.

For any pbs kids out there, Primal screen also did the on air design for them as well
  • It's a shame how Primal Screen was such a big part of my childhood, and I'm only now learning their name. Their CN bumpers were iconic and they deserve so much more credit than they've gotten. May they rest in peace.

Primal Screen were one of the companies I remember seeing their work at a young age, and they’ve become my mutuals on Twitter since May 2022. Not to mention, they’re the company that introduced me to one of their former employees and their art and animation wizardry (take a wild guess who it is). It’s a shame that the Primal Screen Dream Team will be leaving the scene.
  • It really sucks to see how badly the 2007 Boston Mooninite Panic screwed up Cartoon Network. Makes me wonder, where would CN be now had it never happened?
