Something I noticed about Ryan compared to the others is that one of the constant traits within each of his videos I've seen was his willingness to rip on himself and didn't shy away from showing the more embarrassing aspects. Normally, youtubers avoid this, but with him, you see him focus on things like hurting himself, screwing up, starting to do something cool but completely failing at it, etc. It in turn shows a more humble aspect where he's not boisterous or loud, he's human, and it makes him more appealing.
