I always liked Andrew McCarthy. So happy to see he has come through life well and has work that he loves to do.
  • I had the biggest crush on Andrew McCarthy as a teenager šŸ’• He still look's FinešŸ˜ I will watch anything with his name on it.
  • Can I say just how great it is that he has NOT had any plastic surgery? He looks his age!!! NORMAL

Andrew McCarthy truly IS the sweetheart he projects himself to be - he always has been. I happened to sit next to him at Chumley's, an old bar in Greenwich Village YEARS ago, and I'll never forget how down to earth and cool he was - I mean, who was I, just this Asian American guy who'd gone to NYU like him. What a classy guy!

I'm glad Andrew never wanted to be like Tom Cruise and for the record, I never thought the "Brat Pack" was an insult because they're all so talented. Our entire generation was "The Brat Pack" thanks to you guys and I was always proud of that.

I'm 55 and it's interesting seeing the people of my generation grow old.

I loved Mannequin so much as a kid. Iā€™m glad heā€™s enjoying his life. He gets to work with James Spader even now.

He's still amazing, and love that he embraces his age, and looks like a 58 year old man should look: still soooo handsome!
  • @steveconn
He had a good underused comic flair in movies like Weekend At Bernie's too.
  • My little sister and I would just swoon over Andrew McCarthy when we were very young. There was just something about himā€¦
  • @ReverendBrown.
He seems like the only genuinely nice, humble person in that whole group.

As someone r The same age as Andrew, I thought everyone in the Brat Pack was awesome. I never saw the term as a negative.

Always one of my favorite actors. Happy heā€™s at peace in life.

I was a teen in the 80ā€™s and despite all of the young, hot actors so popular then it was Andrew I thought was the hottest. He was underrated, should have been a much bigger star. Love him! šŸ„°
  • I was definitely always in love with Andrew than any of the male actors.
  • @lynnturman8157
Just in terms of talent, I always thought he was one of the best actors of his generation. I wish he would do more acting.
