After skipping the State of Play and Summer Game Fest, Insomniac Games has just revealed new DLC for Spider-Man 2, and it’s coming soon. What it do, Durag Nation? Insomniac Games isn’t done with Spider-Man 2 yet. As previously covered on the channel, Insomniac announced plans to drop a new update to address player feedback and add new skins. Fans weren’t too excited about the KidSuper collaboration based on the initial images, but the in-game look is much better.
In a surprise PlayStation blog, Insomniac revealed eight new suits in the upcoming Spider-Man 2 DLC. From the KidSuper collab, Miles gets the Metro and Ginga suits, while Peter gets the Fluro and Motorchic suits. Additionally, Insomniac is bringing back four outfits from Spider-Man PS4 and Miles Morales: Peter’s Last Stand and Into The Spider-Verse suits, and Miles’s Animated and Uptown Pride suits.
Besides the new suits, the free update includes quality-of-life features such as swapping out the symbiote for the Spider-Arms during parry and traversal abilities, and further stability fixes. The update drops on June 18th and will be free for everyone.
More Spider-Man 2 DLC is expected later this year, including content based on the Spider-Man villain Beetle, which was accidentally previewed during the New Game Plus update. Insomniac is also set to release updates for Marvel’s Wolverine and a new Marvel game at the next PlayStation Showcase. Info on this PlayStation Showcase 2024 event has already leaked, just like the Sony State of Play did.

NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT THIS!!!!! But when miles grabs someone with his webs in his own game he sends electricity down the webs but in SPM 2 they took that feature out. It doesn’t feel like miles without this feature please bring it back

I can't believe they didn't show Spiderman stuff in both Sonys State of Play and in Summer Showcase. I'm just gonna have to accept that games take longer to make these days

I can't wait to play the DLC 2 things I want. 1 miles to be in the DLC to team up with peter and wraith to fight carnage. 2 carnage to be playable because venom was playable in the main story.

After this drops the only thing left to announce will be story DLC. One step closer! And I like the idea of finally completing the NG+ in Mile’s Uptown Pride Suit on Juneteenth.

The only thing I'm hoping for is a Spider-Man 2 DLC story expansion involving Carnage.
