He was a dead man walking and didn't even know it. Smh......I think he knew he had a 50/50 chance of living or dieing. The fear must have been unbearable.

This is when things start go wrong. Lane drew his gun too soon. Floyd was scared because of the gun. He was panicking. When they had Floyd suiting handcuffed on the sidewalk against the wall, this would have been the time to calm by explaining why they may be taking him to custody. This was all preventable. You can’t arrest a person without telling them why. It gives the person in custody a way of opening the discussion into why he had a counterfeit bill. I wouldn’t investigate money I got from a acquaintance without checking if it was real. Most of us get scammed every day.

I keep asking the question ⁉️ how long did the clerk go to school to study fake or real money ❓ I've had someone tell me l had a fake $20 because he had never seen one from back in the day 🧐

If Floyd he felt he was guilty they would have bailed long before the clerks came out to confront him and certainly would have left before the second encounter.

I'm glad justice has been served now we just have to wait on the Sentencing to be appropriate

When he said “sorry sorry I didn’t do anything” that when my heart broke 😔

What I don't understand is when the kid who worked there said "I told my manager he didn't want to come in and I offered to pay for his food" why he wouldn't just take a 20 out of his pocket and say "he said he didn't know it was fake and he gave me a real 20." That's something I would do. I know what it's like to grow up struggling and doing things to get in trouble (I've since changed as I'm an adult now and a mommy and no longer do anything to get myself in trouble) but I'd help anyone that I could, especially if they didnt have the funds

In this type of setting, I would never advocate for an employee to go after a customer like that. You never know what said customer is capable of. I remember when I was working at a small grocery store as a teenager, and the owner wanted me to chase after a guy who didn't pay 10 dollars for a purchase. I was definitely naive at the time, so I complied, but when I told my Dad, he was fumming. It was as if the owner cared about money than his employees.

Tears come down when 30 lives were lost in the riot ,because of this druggist man who was convicted several times and family got 27 million dollars when countless stores were looted!!!
