I recall hearing about how the stunt coordinator specifically decided to take inspiration straight out of the actual Spider-Man comics from the time for how Spider-Man (Takuya Yamashiro) moved in the show. That combined with the really accurate costume helmed by Eaves Brooks makes this a fairly accurate Spider-Man.

23:45 "The villain is a guy doing a Jim Carey impression" OK, but that's Max Headroom and Jim Carey's entire career is essentially a Max Headroom impression...

Captain America not using a shield and just only a fucking gun is the funniest shit. I’ve been fucking crying for 10 minutes at that clip of him just gunning down 2 men straight faced

Somehow Blade feels completely out of place on this list, in fact I thought it was released after 2000. That movie is just too good. Anyway, you deserves more views dude, Great video!
  • @DaVinciNoir
Blade was the true origin of modern comic book films. Never gets the credit it deserves.
  • @realjpegmafia
To be honest there’s something so cool about seeing comic book media before there was really any craze about it
  • @CoolPaDuke
Bill Bixby was such an ordinary man and yet he could read a phone book with the most spell-binding gravitas.
  • @mikeclarke5732
“3 college students build an atomic bomb” I love that sentence
  • @Joshy16012009
I honestly think Bill Bixby is the best Banner portrayal ever even if he’s called David

The fact they never got HassleHoff to make a cameo as an alternate nick fury in the latest spiderman movie is criminal!!! 😭😭😭 you know he would so be up for that!! He was in the SpongeBob movie as himself ffs!!😂
  • @AlonzoTompkins
Love seeing more people understanding why Japanese Spider-Man is legitimately amazing.
  • @Sean-bf3lh
Bill bixby as david banner was wonderful

The Punisher movie wasn't a masterpiece by a long stretch, but Dolph Lundgren was great casting for the punisher. He had the physicality required for the role and I feel that his tired and expressionless look perfectly conveyed a dead inside death seeker.

i remember getting that 70s spider man on vhs as a kid and seeing live action spiderman for the first time. I was honestly amazed XDXD
  • @marcboucher6151
You distilled 19 movies into 48 minutes of enjoyment - well done! Very fun 😊
  • @WOLVERINE25TH
I'm watching this video and staring at the Captain America serial spine. When you finally pulled it out, it was confirmed: that's the replacement DVD cover I designed after being disappointed with the one that came with the (official?) release! So cool to see it out in the wild like that!

The first live action appearance of Spider-man was actually on the tv show The Electric Company.
