Catherine May Be Absent for Many Months + Sarah Ferguson Outburst at Cannes Fundraiser

Published 2024-05-26
Historian and Royal Broadcaster Rafe Heydel-Mankoo says we must not become impatient about the Princess of Wales's absence. HRH asked for time and space to undergo treatment and we should respect that.

Preventative chemotherapy can take anywhere from 3 - 12 months; so it may be some time before we see HRH again. She will only return to duties when her medical team give the green light.

Kensington Palace will be keen to avoid a repeat of previous frenzied speculatio; thus, if HRH doesn't make a public appearance over the summer, we can expect them to issue a further update or video at the appropriate time in the weeks ahead.

May God protect her Royal Highness Princess Cathrine, and that she makes a complete recovery. A Loyal Royalist from the Great South Land 🇬🇧🇦🇺

3:08 well said, Rafe. Hands off the PoW. She's entitled to her privacy. Heal

I love Rafe he always uses the Royals proper titles and names, he is the only person who does in msm.

The Princess of Wales has asked for privacy, and must be given privacy. I know of no person who wants to see the POW back until she is really healthy. If it takes 2 years - it takes 2 years. Just leave Catherine alone to recover fully.

Sarah: no one likes being lectured to. Please, stop.
  • Jeez... 'The Dutchess of York'... That takes me back, I haven't heard of her since the '80s.

I'm really not a fan of Sarah Ferguson but as this was for charity, I thought the crowd were rude. As for Catherine, well of course she is going to want to be with her "birth family" at a time like this.

Fergie needs to concern herself with her former husband’s antics before she lectures the rest of us.
  • In the early 90s, I took a post-graduate course in climate change and public health at a very respectable university. Not one thing the lecturers predicted came true. NOT ONE THING. Princesses are mostly as thick as the icecaps still are..

0:13 how undignified. Prince Philip was right about her. KC3 bringing her back alongside the family is a baaaaad decision

Give her a break, good heavens, she doesn't need all that crap. Good on you for saying she needs time and space. Cheers Rosemary Western Australia 73yrs
  • I do like a well educated, witty dandy, English man. As a french, they are the epitome of elegance. And who can compete against British's humour? I've seen videos of congolese or I don't what country of black Africa, trying to imitate this style: it is probably the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen.

Her ?, don't you mean Catherine seeing as you called the king by his name not very professional are you Dawn!😊
  • A few too many champers for Fergie. The environment is under threat and vital, but needs more ambassadors like David Attenborough/Jane Goodall/Bindi Irwin and less of Fergie/Taylor Swift/Leonardo DiCaprio.
