One of the best broadcasts I have seen and heard. Some of my favorite music was performed. A rousing rendition of Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee, Consider the Lilies, Awake the Harp and then Derrick's spoken word which asks us to accentuate the positive in life and not to dwell on life's hard times. After hearing that inspiring message the Choir and orchestra did that beautiful rendition of Smile and I just felt in my being that Fill the World With Love would finish the program and indeed it did in the Choir's inimitable version. I am not LDS but this broadcast has uplifted and inspired me for almost 20 years when I started listening in 2005. This broadcast was one of the best. All of you made my day that much better and more hopeful for good things to come. Thank you all again and keep up God's work - till we meet again.
  • I always love the spirit you convey through music. Today I especially enjoyed listening to the organ solo. Its peacefulness spoke to me. Thank you for giving me that today, and enhancing my sabbath day. May god bless all of you to continue to bring the good things in life to the world.
  • Good morning! Aloha from the Big Island of Hawaii! Thank you choir for lifting my spirit this Sabbath day!
  • I wish to thank you for sharing this ( Music & the Spoken Word ) video with me . Amen
  • Wise gentle words - thank you. This is something I am working on right now - I have been very inward looking since my late husband passed away. Now, I am trying to see things from the point of view of those around me - all of whom are God's beloved children. Making The Saviour the focus of my life has really helped turn my view outward!

Thank you for a another wonderful message! Make prople happy makes me happy.
  • I loved how the choir included the Ode to Joy from Beethoven's 9th and the piece from The Creation by Haydn. However, I must ask the question why those chorals are sung in a translated version, and not in their original language. I guess I understand you want the audience to understand what is being sung. As a classical music nerd I appreciate much more when the original language is sung, and I would have liked those pieces better sung in german, to be honest. Still I loved to hear this type of music as part of the choir's performance, and I would love to hear more of that in the future.
