I’m 57 years old 5 kids that are doing good in life. My mom single parent mom worked 2 3 jobs my whole child hood. But dude this song hits me in my heart. Thank you.

That song is fkn deep!! My mom battled addiction. She didn't get clean until I was 22. Sober 2 years and then died. My brother wouldn't speak to her. He missed out on the 2 years she was sober. But I get it. It's hard. I miss her so much. She was around and a good mom when I was little. And then just snapped one day. Just gone. Not sure whats worse knowing what having a good mom feels like and having it ripped away or just not knowing at all. When she was sober 2 years I had my mom back!! 😢 I was angry at God like why! Then I realized one day that I had 2 years with her that I wouldnt have had if she would have died before she was clean. God gave me that breif gift. So many things I wanted to say and didn't and can't now. Thanks for this song. I listened to it atleast 6 times back to back. ❤ mad respect for you making this song for your mom man. Your music fans can honestly say you have helped us realize we are not alone. Dont ever feel like you dont have genuine fans out here ❤❤ because you really do. ❤

❤I think it was the most wonderful thing for Eminem to do this song, You can tell he's gotten older and understands about life and he apologized to his Mom. I bet she probably bawled her eyes out because I'm sure shes probably been hurt over his songs when he was younger. I'm 67 and this is not the kind of music that I listen to. That being said I recognize what wonderful artists Miley and Eminem are. I do enjoy them and fully the support the work that they do.

I almost didnt watch this vid, but thankful I did. My mom had confessed that she did things differently when me and my siblings were growing up. Not staying in a shitty marriage. She tells me dont waste your life being miserable no matter how mich ot sets you back. We grew up okay but when my mom left my dad we lived in the worst apartments. It was tough on my mom and I wish I had more compassion for how hard it was for her. She is my everything ever since.

Such a real, emotional, and long overdue apology to someone you loved and but still resented so much for having weakness - only to grow up a bit and realize years later that it was illness. And while it may not change what happened, it at least puts a candle in place for healing through a new understanding of how things went.....

He found the courage to use every painful memory he had to write such creative music.
