The President's safety is a top priority, managed through sophisticated means like the presidential motorcade and Air Force One. The motorcade, meticulously designed and equipped, safeguards the President during ground travel with features like The Beast, which is heavily fortified and technologically advanced. For international travel, Air Force One serves as a secure airborne command center, operated by a skilled team and equipped with advanced communication and defensive systems.

Transporting the motorcade to other countries involves careful planning and coordination, often utilizing Air Force transport aircraft. These planes have the capacity to carry multiple vehicles, including The Beast, along with support staff and equipment. Despite potential risks abroad, the U.S. government ensures maximum security and protection for the President.

These measures have all ensured that there have been no successful attempts at harming a sitting president in the last 40 years, showcasing their importance in continued vigilance when protecting such high value people.

I’m a retired, navy nurse, the thing you’re also not mentioning is medical. When the president goes anywhere, a full medical detail has to scout out the area in advance. Ensuring hospitals contain an ICU, all the necessary life support systems in the event of a catastrophic event. This occurs not just internationally but nationally as well advance scout groups visit each hospital near the intended itinerary to assess the route to get there, the facilities and the support team to manage a medical emergency emergency.

My father was an agent in the 60s and 70s when it was six guys per shift, 2 cars and most of the motorcade was local police

Whether I voted for and/or support whomever might be the president I’m very happy to see them being properly protected.. I guess some people don’t see it that way..

Be careful what you say about Boeing... you might get sick and die.

A lot of money. Can’t the President usually teleconference?
  • @Joey_Carrillo
Call signs are not dictated by aircraft type (e.g. fixed winged, helicopter, etc.) as mentioned in video, but by the military service that operates the aircraft. Example: When President Bush landed on an US aircraft carrier in an US Navy aircraft, it's call sign was Navy 1.

Will it all be any good if the President forgets that he is the President? 🤔
  • @schmedlap
i think Joe on a moped followed by a clown on a tricycle would work just as well
  • Not one single electric vehicle in the entire fleet and this potatoe wants to force everyone to buy one.

at 6:57 you re incorrect. Mine 1 is the call sign of ANY Marine aircraft carrying the president. Not just helicopters.
  • @rmanly1473
Wait, you're telling me Biden isn't riding in one of those short busses?
