No art history documentary compares to this series. The amount of knowledge and love for art you get from this man you don’t get anywhere else.

A real treat, a whole Baroque in one finger tip. I don't know that anyone has brought art and history closer to an ordinary man like Waldemar did

"Everyone deserves a spot in Boroque art." I love it! The "dads army", "higgledy piggelty" lol this man gives everything a warm and fuzzy feeling. I love strumming the guitar as well. Thank you Waldemar.

I was very fortunate that I discovered the genius of Waldemar in 2012 when I watched The Dark Ages, An Age of Light. I’ve learned more from him about history of art from anyone I’ve ever met, read or studied, and ever since, I’ve been watching him, listening and learning with vigour.

The host is just so god damned charismatic! I love this guy!
  • I love the comparison of a "Rennaissance pearl" and "Baroque pearl". Even my aging brain can remember that one. Thank you for all these art videos that encompass so much history in such an entertaining way.

Perspective is a great site. Here you can get a good education. Waldemar Januszczak is a fine narrator, and educator. Wow! I shall never forget Borromini, and Bernini. These are true angels of our cultural heritage.
