Fun fact: There is a randomizer setting that allows you to only encounter mons with custom sprites.

I hope they update the game where you can visit every region. And continue the game. But if this is all they have, I'd say I'm pretty satisfied since the Johto region was well tied into the story.

To continue the Plasma story you just had to talk to the boat guy and he'll follow them to their island. But you're not missing much except a sick fusion they've been working on.

If you ever go back to this game, for the Blackthorn City cave, you can simply stay still until the whirlpools randomize once again and have an easier time since they won't spawn a whirlpool on you. Hope that helps !
