Rodman: The art of making it look like the other player started it.

When the NBA was a professional version of hardened streetball. It was a beautiful thing...and damn I miss it.

Murasan was a legit threat before his injuries, not just tall. He was voted most improved in 1995. 14.5ppg, 9.total rebound , 3.3 offensive. 2.3 block on 58% shooting. Not only 7’7” with 7’10” wingspan but probably about 330 or 340 then and strong. He was a very tough inside force offensively, tough on the boards, and defensively disruptive.

Rodman took on everybody. Shaq, Iverson, Malone, Alonzo Mourning, etc. didn't matter. He wanted all the smoke 😂😂😂

Gheorghe is a genuinely nice guy. I used to see him hanging out at wizards games all the time well after he retired. It seemed like he was at almost every home game. He would just hang out and talk to fans. I moved so no longer go to games but I wouldnt be surprised if hes still always there.

I love the commentary back then versus today, “see that’s a cheap shot and that’s right George he can’t let this guy hit him with a cheap shot” encouraging the retaliation when it’s called for rather than saying it’s a disgrace and not to react

This video is proof the physicality was on another level than todays game

Rodman was such a workhorse. Lots of battling in the trenches. What a great era.

the best comment that sums up rodman, was made by my dad when he saw an article in the newspapaers during this time,... he did it in 4 words,...."HE MAKES ME PUKE"

I thought this was going to be one fight. This was like a mini-series! Thx for posting

Good ol days of physical contact and hand checking defense. Golden Era of basketball

Rodman was an absolute master at his craft. These plays were always intentional he knew what he was doing.

No matter how crazy D.Rodman appeared to be. There was a method to his madness. He made up for his size by getting into players heads mentally. Greatest rebounder, I have ever witnessed👍...
  • Rodman really played everyone hard, was the hardest hustling player in the game. Bulls couldn't have three peated that second time without him.
  • Love the stoic nature of Phil Jackson. He doesn't fly off the bench...no yelling....no worries. He knows he's got a loose cannon in Rodman, & the ultimate problem solver in Jordan.

Of all the players Rodman was the most like an actual "bull", how he goes up against guys so much bigger than him is crazy, he just has incredible strength
