Gigabyte RTX 2080 TI Alphacool Waterblock Install

This Gigabyte RTX 2080 TI does have a reference PCB with the exception of 2 fan headers.
In this video I will unbox the Gigabyte RTX 2080 TI and the Alphacool Eisblock GPX-N M02. This GPU waterblock had the mills in the block to allow clearance for the fan headers.

I also would like to add that I do not have this GPU anymore. It stopped working 2 days after owning it. I have since returned it. Stay tuned for a much better upgrade, unboxing and install!

Thank you for this guide - I couldn't figure out how to get the damn thing to come loose and then I saw you kinda twist it and that was the help I needed! I repasted my 2080ti and my temps dropped 10c and I'm boosting to 1980 and I haven't hit 72c yet!

I just have my Gigabyte RTX 2080 TI and the Alphacool Eisblock GPX-N M02 installed for a month. It still run great after some OC and many sessions of intensive gaming.

Do you think it doesn't work anymore because of it ? I really want to buy one but if it kill GPU...

Any idea what the thermal pad thickness was for this card stock? I’m trying to replace mine but I’m unsure what thickness to buy. Thanks

I see you have Corsair fans how did you make the gpu match ICUE?

I have the same card man I want to watercool it. Is it same pcb as the founders edition? I am thinking to get other brand which is available in my country. Will it be compatible with fe waterblocks or any other brand which sells these?

when you remove the fans and cooler does the coils come out?

I've now had 2 of these GPU's that have both died due to this waterblock!

Lol I know this is a hell of a long shot.. but if you still have that stock cooler.. are you interested in selling it ?? I've been looking all over for this cooler but not to many ppl water cool gigabyte's 2080ti because a PCB difference from what I've been reading If you're interested in selling it please contact me 🙃
