American professional eater Randy Santel versus Baha Betty's $150 NZD "Bonanza" Menu Eating Challenge hosted by Baha Betty on the 4th floor of Westfield Newmarket Mall in the Newmarket area of Auckland on New Zealand's North Island!! My girlfriend ‪@KatinaEatsKilos‬ and I left Tokyo, Japan in East Asia and flew down to Queenstown on the South Island of New Zealand to begin a multi-week eating challenge tour around both islands of New Zealand. For my fourth North Island food challenge while already in the Auckland area, we headed over to Baha Betty on the 4th floor of Westfield Newmarket so we could each attempt and help kick off Baha Betty's new "Baha Bonanza" Menu Eating Challenge which was huge and filled with lots of my favorite foods!! I had one full hour to feast on seven different food items from their giant menu. There was a tasty California-style triple cheeseburger, almost 1kg of BBQ pork ribs, an order of smoked brisket nachos, an order of fried chicken & cornbread waffles, some fried risotto balls as an appetizer, about 1lb of Buffalo hot chicken wings, and a big Coke Ice Cream Float to enjoy along the way. I was hoping to become just the second champion to win my $150 NZD menu eating challenge meal free plus a spot on Baha Betty's Wall of Fame!! BIG thanks to everyone with Baha Betty in Newmarket of Auckland, New Zealand on the North Island for the wonderful food, drinks, beers, desserts, and hospitality!! Special thanks also to all our amazing friends who came up that Sunday evening to watch and meet us!! We appreciate everyone in Auckland and around the rest of New Zealand who watches videos and supports our hard efforts!! This his best that I’ve seen!!!! I love how I can learn about what I should expect from good food. Extreme seasoning isn’t the clue. It’s tender foods that are seasoned, but the star is the protein and veggies, not a pile of gritty seasoning and bitter herbs. It’s all about balance. You can see the difference on Randy’s face!!!
