Let’s be honest here, this Spurs team deserves talks in being the greatest team ever. The ball movement, the unselfishness, the unity, the defense, the fundamentals. That’s the way the game was made to be played. Not to mention they beat a red hot Kevin Durant in his MVP season and annihilated the 2 time defending champions like they was trash. Amazing team

The ball movement on this team was like a work of art. I legit miss this team and I’m not even a spurs fan 😭

The Spurs have been a model of consistency for over 20 years

23:15 "Great job Tim" "Thank you Sir" That's a man right there
  • @brucelau2023
Literally tho the San Antonio Spurs wiped the floor with them that year , Miami Heat basically had no chance to repeat , Spurs wanted some sweet revenge

23:28 “We don’t wanna give them any life” That was one of the coldest Tim Duncan words I’ve ever heard.

2014 Spurs are the forefathers of the modern NBA

Spurs just take care of business. Don’t talk trash, don’t play flashy, just win & lose with Class. Much respect.
  • Commentator: “Everybody in the roster (Spurs) has scored” Spurs 2014 is really the apinnacle of team basketball. 💯 Still giving me Goosebumps when I watch this finals.

Watching this makes me a bit sad and nostalgic. Goddamn I miss Manu. As a latino fan of the NBA, he means the world to us. And he was saucy with it too.

Man you got no idea how many of us Spurs fans thought Kawhi was gonna be Duncan v2
  • I can’t even describe the energy of the City of San Antonio the night we won the championship. It was one of the funnest nights of my life.
  • @TheMarkoSeke
This was the most well-oiled-machine team of the era

The beautiful game! Timmy saying, "We'll get it done this time" after the OKC series was so uncharacteristic. He sealed the deal then.
  • One of the most underrated titles ever. Congratulate Spurs, definitely one of my favourite teams of all time. Thank you Tim, Parker, Manu, thank you for everything what you did.
  • the moment Tim Duncan says "we got 4 more to win and we'll do it this time" after their win against OKC in WCF, i know from that moment the Heat are in big trouble.still gives me goosebumps to this day.they are on a mission that year.Timmy wanted that 5th ring so bad with the way he plays during the closeout game against OKC.pretty amazing to look back.💯

17:46 pop says "everybodys' a point guard!" that sums up this series beautifully.
