Shrinkflation is a disgrace!!!!

Was having this talk with my daughter a few days ago...Canada is the same We are getting less product in almost everything and paying higher prices per item. i buy my toilet paper at Save On Foods here.They haven't made the roll of the brand shorter (yet) but they did up the price by 2 $. I'm 59 and this is such a different world from what I remember growing up.. I'm grateful and not ashamed to say when covid hit my community started helping people by collecting the produce the local food grocery stores were going to toss....sorted through it and distributed to the community center here once a week as a free open outdoor market. To this day it continues and I'm so grateful to get free fruit and veggies weekly. I'm on a pension and this kindness is making it so I get through each month given the high cost of everything. Often I think what the next five , ten ...years will look like, it's scary . I'm an optimist so I pray and hope things will change in this world for the greater good for all.
