If you install the turbine lower inside that tube you will generate more power. I am a civil engineer working in the hydropower sector and I absolutely approve of this. Hats off to you sir.

Archeologists in 10,000 years: Beavers were significantly more advanced back then.

In 60 years, someone will use the ruins of this project as evidence for a long lost civilization of micro-humans.
  • @FloydFloyd-ot5eo
I can’t believe he did that in 15 minutes. But seriously, this is a huge project and this dude is likely an engineer and clearly a master craftsman. Nice work.

I'm particularly appreciative of the guard rails. Wouldn't want anything falling to their doom whilst crossing the dam, no matter how tiny they must be
  • @zhaf
I love that he is committed making it a miniature complete with tiny rails, tiny road, tiny bridges and a led strip.
  • The amount of great work being done in sandals or loafers around the world is tremendous.

the fact theres a little bridge for like small animals or something is so cute and thoughtful

I love the fact that at least about 9.5 million people have shared in their childhood experience of dreaming about building a dam in the backyard...

I was born in the early 80's, so I grew up in the last American generation prior to the advent of the cell phone or internet. We lived in the country and had a small creek in the backyard. We'd build all kinds of things into that stream over the years. That was a regular hangout spot after school for years with our friends. If we'd have had access to this vid, we'd have built at least one!!

Красиво, но всего лишь стенд. Можно было бы увеличить мощность и вполне обеспечить дом электричеством.

This may not be an entirely sober thought, but imagine how much faster we could build cities if we had giants doing the work.
  • @Joxer_The_Mighty
Just imagine how many useful structures a giant can build in a few days😊

Великолепно! Отличный стенд для школьников, можно водить и показывать как устроены гидротехнические сооружения... Как вода даёт энергию. ❤
  • Had a friend in the late 70s do a very simplified version of this. He set up a paddlewheel/generator/battery system on the creek that ran through his property. He also built a small cottage/bunkhouse and powered all the necessary utilities with with the set up. It was pretty ingenious, but this is as aesthetically pleasing as it is functional. Brilliant. Cheers from New Zealand! 🇳🇿

This kind of sophistication, even on such a small scale requires a certain level of knowledge, hats off to you man. It looks fantastic!

Governerment when they see a place rich in biodiversity and that should be protected at all cost :

You have enough water and plenty electric yes the land is yours so worth it.
