  • Bravo!!!!! What an outstanding performance of a brilliant program. I had no idea that Hereford Willis was so tonally attractive. I must pay you a visit to hear it live.

It's good to see these organ recitals from different places on-line - I hope they continue even after the pandemic is over and done with. It means we can hear all kinds of different instruments.
  • Loved the Walton especially - thank you for this. Beautifully played!
  • @epincion

A wonderful selection of beautiful music, played with real musicality and skill. So good to have the quieter pieces as foils to the louder and exciting ones. I really enjoyed the recital and hope that there will be more to follow even when the current restrictions have disappeared.
  • Exquisite, thank you so much! I especially enjoyed the Christopher Dearnley piece - achingly beautiful and unusual. Huge thank you for introducing me to it - I've tracked down the sheet music already. My sight reading is dreadful but I'm very much looking forward to learning it.

A fabulous organ . Beautiful Walton piece . Willis organs are truly the best . Liverpool cathedral is my favourite though🤫

Wonderful, and such a "kick" to hear the Walton for solo organ! Some complicated console management required there! The Tuba on your organ sounds fantastic; does it date from "Father" Willis' time, or from a later rebuild? Tuba stops were a no-no for decades, here in the U.S.A., but they didn't seem to know what they were missing. E.M. Skinner made some fine examples here, and I think he was "coached" by one of the Willis dynasty - not sure which one. Your Grieg was really beautiful. Thank you for this great program!
  • Anybody know where I can find sheet music for the Thalben-Ball Vreuchten? Thanks.
