Did you know that some of Lebron's teammates in his rookie year were also some of his haters. His coach at the time claims that that was perhaps his most impressive season because of the circumstances he had to endure.

Ricky Davis didn't come out of highschool. He went to Iowa for a season.

Shaquille O'Neale was also one of those rookies who never (I think) experienced rookie hazing cause he was a big dude and acted as such. There was this story when a Scott Skiles told Shaq "Carry my bags rookie" and Shaq literally replied "I'm not a rookie, I'm the franchise". They left him alone after that. Pretty much sums up Diesel's career in the NBA.

I watched his rookie season. His teammates hated passing him the ball and his teammates were bums.

What made it more impressive is that he played his entire rookie season in what were essentially capris.

The hype around Lebron before he made it to the league was crazy! I’ve never seen a player hyped that much before actually playing in pros. After 20 years it was All worth it. He lived to All expectations and beyond

Young LBJ was a specimen, how almost forgot how athletic he was. The speed, strength and explosion is mesmerizing

Brought tears to my eyes to hear Bron went and got the doughnuts. He was ready to be someone's rook but they were intimidated.
  • @JoeBChill
Seems like Big Z was the only starter teammate to actually embrace him as a rookie.

Told people that lebron wasn’t only playing against opponents, he was playing against his teammates also, and that people were trying to sabotage this mans career for a long time
  • I have never seen an athlete gets so much hate like this guy. He didn’t robbed anyone never been involved in bad situations and yet he gets the most hate 😂 despite all that hate and jealousy he overachieved

Zydrunas & LeBron were always cool. They worked together very well & even complimented each other’s game.

The moment Ricky Davis left the meeting and got traded was the moment future LeGM was born, Bron just didn't know that he already had it inside him that time.

I could cry right now… young bron was just unexplainably amazing.

Crazy to think that this man has been a transcendent talent in the NBA since I was 10 years old and is now playing my favorite team. I think about how much things have changed since 2003 both in general society and in my personal life. LeBron has been around for all of it, crazy!

Zion and Wemby have crazy potential, but 19yr old lebron was just something else man. Look at the speed, athleticism, and instincts he had at 6’8. We can only hope to see something like him again once he retires. And being that social media is so prevalent these days, we will know if another Lebron is on the rise by his sophomore year of high school.
  • From the first seconds of his NBA journey up to his 21st yr he’s been hated by many even by his own teammates, GOAT or not you have to pay respect to the man who lived to all of that and came out to be one of the greatest.
  • @dsmith4706
I was at that Warrensville game. He was a man amongst boys, blocking shots into the stands. Shit was crazy
  • @Eaballer242
I genuinely believe his documentary when its all said and done will be something unforeseen. Considering what he's had to endure throughout highschool until who knows when he's going to retire. Especially since we've never gotten the unfiltered truth from lebron: about Mj, his teammates, the cavs owner, his haters and much more. Whenever he's ready to tell his story that will definitely solidify him as the goat and win back his respect he rightfully deserves
  • Imagine the hype, intimidation, expectations and hatred as a rookie up to now and overcoming and defying all odds, I’m proud being Lebron’s fan since day 1.
