tldw: i recently uploaded a video called ''someone is following me'', that was wrong of me to do. It was a ''creative'' video disguised as terrible clickbait, and I am deeply upset with myself for betraying my audiences trust. I won't ever do that again and i'm sorry to those i upset.

Please don't try to comment in my defence or fight with others about whether it was right or ''okay'' of me to do it in the context of the video, i just want to move on and keep creating fun videos.

I appreciate everyone that watches and supports me.

Its a lesson at the end of the day. Clickbait is fine as long as its nothing "serious", you want to get people to watch after all, but there are people out there who genuinely have these problems of "being followed", but I'm glad you understood your mistake! We live and learn Wood ☺️

If this is a real apology, where’s the ukelele?
  • @jordandiaz177
I’m watching the video waiting for the “ahhhh I gotchu guys” part

The difference between good and bad people is how they handle bad situations. And your handling of this one was superb

Thank you so much for this video, Wood. It’s incredibly honest and heartfelt. The only reason I was taken aback by the “clickbait” video was purely because I and other viewers care about you. We only wish the best for you. Everyone makes mistakes and learns from them, it’s natural. Keep up the great work, man.

Sonetimes we need a caring Nan to put things in perspective. 👍❤

I started watching your channel because I liked the energy you brought and humor. I was genuinely concerned when you opened up about mental issues because my family has had issues in that area. Maybe it is hard for a YouTuber to believe people can care about them even when there is no real relationship. That said, I'm glad you learned some boundaries in that area and took responsibility. Looking forward to seeing where you take the channel in the future. Best of luck!

I think I saw that episode. Was the first beatemups vid i watched in a while. An apology was not necessary at all.

Poor granny! 😢 You got me on that one (it felt like April fools once the ridiculous thing happened) I have not thought about it since, but I also am not deeply invested in your well-being like your family to see the 1st bit. I thought it was funny and appreciated the work that went into it in the moment.
  • I guessed from the beginning it was a bit, because I saw the previous video with the other you in it. It does make it different with your nan having been worried about you, and making an apology in light of that and the division that's occurred does make perfect sense. Honestly, I thought the part of you getting pulled into another realm by the other you was really cool and I was hoping for some lore there. I hope this doesn't make you pull back on the multiple yous thing and the creepy other you, because those are really funny bits. Thanks for always being you, Wood. Keep doing what you love.
  • I seen the announcement video where you did that before for the Nintendo podcast episode with Scott the Woz, so I was pretty confident that that was what you were doing with that other video. But I understand why you want to apologize to those that didn't get it

Can completely relate getting lost in the creativity of it all! It happens. But you learn and grow and thats what is important. Thanks for the apology and your grandparents sound so sweet!
  • In a world full of people so ready to double down when upsetting others, I appreciate your willingness to reflect on things when others express concern. Thank you for your maturity in handling the situation. That said, don't beat yourself up over it. You took a chance that didn't go how you thought it would. That's absolutely alright. You're already demonstrating you're learning from it, and that's all anyone can ask for from any of us. Keep being you, keep being creative, and keep your head up!

You are doing amazing!!! Don’t ever change!! I appreciate you for you!!

First apology video I’ve seen that felt genuine
