i respect d'angelo's decision to take the videos off his channel, but what the shane dawson video revealed was just so far beyond the pale that i'm glad there is still a record of it. i sincerely think that d'angelo did a public service in putting this video together.

Looking back , this is by far the most important expose video of all time , it completely ruined Shane career , yes he still gets views but it does not matter. It ruined more his reputation as a beloved youtuber , and he will never get the repeated back again after what he did.

14:00 "That's just how our family is," has to be one of the most disturbing thing he said. I know it doesn't sound like a big deal, but what he is saying is that it's okay for family to be inappropriate with each other because, "That's just how our family is". He's normalizing that type of behavior and teaching his audience that type of behavior is okay and funny. If a family always gets into physical fights and someone says, "That's just how our family is", that doesn't automatically make it okay and normal.

Can we please call Child Protective Services the second him and Ryland bring home their new baby?! That child needs to be protected. I cannot fathom how it is possible that this man is still producing content on the internet and getting away with it.

i wanna see a case study of SA victims and shane and onision watchers. i watched shane from 2008/9-2020 i was a kid and was very much traumatized. it also created a rift of my blackness and myself. there is just so much sadness watching this video.
