Overview
The E-flite Decathlon RJG 1.2m is one of the most capable and best-handling models of the iconic aerobatic trainer ever! It's a replica of the Decathlon that RJ Gritter (RJG) flies in airshows across the United States and sports a classic yet modernized red, white, and blue trim scheme. It also features a variety of scale details including functional LED landing and navigation lights, wheel pants, and wing struts. The one-piece wing is easy to install and remove thanks to hands-free connections and thumbscrews, and the struts snap into/out of place without the need for any fasteners or tools – though it's already conveniently sized to be easy to store and transport without disassembly! Digital and metal-geared servos along with ball-link equipped linkages provide precise and reliable control for smooth sport to aggressive aerobatic flying. The 3S and 4S compatible power system features a 45-amp Spektrum™ Avian™ Smart Lite ESC, and the BNF® Basic version is equipped with an AR631 receiver to deliver real-time telemetry data along with AS3X® and optional-use SAFE® Select plus motor/thrust reversing. All these details and features combine to deliver a very convenient and extremely capable scale model that's a great choice for low-time and intermediate to experienced pilots!

Eeeeowww, such beautiful and sexi engineering here, and you're right; this shouldn't be too hard to fly, even after a beer or two, and the lights will guide you to RC glory.. Good morning and Big Salute from Mid Michigan! Most people that handle packages do a good job. But, it only takes one to damage the box. Looks like the manufacturer did a good job to help prevent shipping damage. Great zooming by Blaz! Your enthusiasm for the sport is genuine and youthful. Just like a. What you said about the Post men is true. I bought a Pfalz D3 From that Moldovian kit maker you recommended. When I got it it was smashed. Turns out it was stepped on in transit and the post office in Europe slapped cardboard and tape on it. Pity, It was a beautiful looking plane.

I have one of these Decathlon planes. My only complaint is it’s just too small. Flys great no complaints in the performance department. I think they made it smaller so R. J. can haul it in his full scale Decathlon in one piece. It’s an awesome little flyer just a bit too small.
