The new diecast BATMOBILE is here! (The Batman 2022) Jada Hollywood Rides 1:32 Scale Unboxing

Published 2022-02-19
Let's open the new Batmobile 1/32 Scale Die-cast from the new movie, the Batman (2022) starring Robert Pattinson. Created by Jada Toys for their Hollywood Rides line of 1:32 scale diecast movie cars. This Batmobile is based on its appearance in the upcoming 2022 Batman film, the all-new Batmobile has been created with a die-cast body and rubber tires. The iconic vehicle features a sleek black paint job and a muscle car design, along with opening doors and an exposed rear engine. It's loaded full of detail, and even includes a 2022 Batman miniature, perfect for completing your Batmobile display!

We'll compare it to the Keaton Batmobile (Batman 1989) 1:32 Scale Die-Cast Metal Vehicle with Figure. Batman's Batmobile is from the 1989 film directed by Tim Burton. It features a die-cast metal body and rubber tires, and it includes a cool 1 2/3-inch tall die-cast figure of Batman!

  • Good to know how the packaging works! I’m always tempered to open some items my collection!

I haven't seen any comparisons, but I feel like this "1/32-ish" scale of Pattinson's Batmobile would scale better with the 1/24 Batmobiles. Its too bad they can't all be the appropriate size with each scale.

I just hate it when they don't stick to the scale. A majority of people who buy these items are collectors, and scale is a big factor in collecting a lineup just like this. It's not clear to me but that might be the reason that Jada just ignored manufacturing the Clooneymobile (I've had to include the Eaglemoss Clooneymobile in my Jada "1:32" collection just to complete the movie series batmobiles). I still think it's best if they prescribe to different pricing for different batmobiles styles rather than keep to one price but have varying scales, e.g.: I'm guessing the Pattmobile is 1:32, the Keaton mobile is 1:35 while the Affleck mobile is 1:37. If Jada did the Clooneymobile, I bet it would be at a 1:40 scale because of that ginormous bat-fin. It would be as long as the Keaton mobile but the body width would be just half of the other batmobiles. That would definitely be an ugly, ugly collection indeed. A collector displays these batmobiles one aside the other, then the beauty of each becomes more synergistic than just displaying it per item on a shelf. The inner warmth of the collector intensifies if he sees his collection fulfilled. But if they belong to different scales, there will always be this blunt sense of frustration at the back of your heart because you still need to squint at each batmobile and pretend in your heart to see them in their correct scales side-by-side each other but can't do anything about it because they've already been manufactured that way. Sorry. Just. Ranting. Also, this same issue goes with the Transformers vehicle modes.
