  • As someone who deals with long term illness that impacts my ability to paint a lot, it can be hard to get re-motivated but I always say that miniatures are patient, they will wait for you, so fair play for being honest about how crap it is when you get sick! Speaking of sick you minis are SICK (in a good way) really vibrant and you have a unique style for sure.

Love your painting style Emil, so vibrant, even the shadows pop off. I will always be excited to watch you painting. I don't understand why people don't click like more, I try to do it with every video that I've watched on YT, it's just polite.
  • I miss old content with painting tutorials :( they were really great
  • @rgbdungeon
Lucas coming in with the kill shot at 23:25 :') What a legend. Epic work as always Emil
  • I dont know if your videos are the reason but over time (years) I have noticed that my way of painting is becoming more like yours. Thanks for the videos, they are great!
  • What a prolific mini painter. Doing high quality work too. Very inspiring!
  • Tbh being ill does not take away your days the way i see it should not say the sick days count great work definitely helps me to get my pule off grey painted
  • @Gull0202
Fantastic painting as always Emil. You’re one of the best mini painters out there and so entertaining as well. Keep up the amazing work!
  • @Fischonkel
I just LOVE your HeroQuest minis. Your painting style adds so much to these kinda basic models, it just incredible to see how great they can look! I wouldn't mind a video where you go all in and paint all your HeroQuest stuff. Would love to see it (Space Crusade too!).
  • Another great video from the squidmar squad. Thanks lads. Enjoyed it a lot
  • Great vid, love the work. You’re an inspiration to many who are starting out on the hobby, and you even inspired me to get into the paint scheme years ago with your paint tutorials. Your vids continue to push me to be better, cheers!
  • @FaxeAxe
It is nice to see, that you have had fun. Really nice paint jobs were created. You inspired me to do the same thing, to finish my zombicide minis. Thank you
  • the one thing i love is the constructive self criticism because i think its a great quality to have as a painter and the detail to me is amazing anyways but i just love the work and aspire to get to that level one day as i have been doing the hobbies over a year now and stared when u got my first job 2 years ago and still learning tanks for everything keep it up bud. thanks again.
  • @ArtiiVoid
I'm glad you managed to push through the project, Emil. Your work is an inspiration to the whole community, even if you have bad days. Thanks for staying determined 🙂
  • Are you painting the backs of the minis in the next video to finish them off 😁
  • Here is an idea paint Warhammer miniatures like histoircal minis like blackpowder or ww2 minis and paint historical minis like warhammer minis plus it would be cool to see death korps of krieg painted like actually germans.
  • great video and showed a wonderful example of resilience, encountering some unforeseeable hurtles/events and dealing with them while pressing forward to ultimately accomplish your goal, well done!

I love these videos, but they are torture too. I've always loved 40k and it's Lore, but I was borne with tremors, and my hand constantly shakes, so I've even been able to do anything even remotely detailed. I'm exceedingly envious of your abilities. Your work is awesome and a constant reminder of what I can't do 😅
