Im lovin these stories ❤️ helps me deal with ma shit
  • I think you're right, you have already gone through grieving over things that happened in the past, in fact we all do that. That's ok, and it may occasionally come to foreground. Then it may be in background, and not affect you much. If the diagnosis of autism helps you make some sense of your past experiences, I say all the better. Get right with yourself, and the rest may follow!

when i realized it in the middle of last year, it was a real emotional release or me.[it put me in this state off amazement and gave me an ability to step outside of my own perspective and interpretation a little more objectively] i thought i would do something about it but eventually things just went back to being the same, i think getting a diagnosis and doing something about it like talking to lots of other autistic people might help me turn my life around a little bit or gain some sort of direction. i think you might find this interesting when it comes to 'how is an autistic brain different to a neurotypical brain?' Must be one of your deepest uploads. Feel ya. Never'd seen you fighting to remain composure b4. There's so much hidden pain in here... No mo message system here on FrootLoops, but comment's limit lifted. So, here we go: As an eccentric, (supposedly!) "highly gifted" (*LOL!*) HSP-misfit, I also find myself dragging similar leaden shoes behind me, while at the same time being impeded by unfathomable, unreasonable surroundings most of the time. Experiencing the widening gap between national ideologies and reality to be a never ending, ever more burning beacon of insanity, so poorly cloaked in raggedy cloths of pseudo-reason. Every once in a while over the last years I've visited several pharmacies to ask for dumbing-down pills. Getting laughs & weird looks every time. They don't know, that I'm asking seriously. The dumber, the happier. I've stopped following (geo)politics since the 16th of December last year. Too insane. Over the top. America behaving like a rabid mad dog, snapping at friends (Stockholmly saying nothing) & foes. "For with much wisdom comes much sorrow; the more knowledge, the more grief." – Ecclesiastes 1:18 Wrote a book during Covid. After just having cared 8 years for my father (demented + Parkinson), I had to face a sudden 2-years episode of homelessness (serious water damage behind the walls); followed & crowned with a narcissistic Brazilian, I'd picked up and tried to help, who turned my life into living hell. Well, after six months, I'm finally gonna meet some publisher later on, who've read 300 pages and was still interested. Let's see... ...BTW: most important thing to be checked out today: Political Ponerology -- scientific evaluation on under-diagnosing psychopaths in and consequences for societies as a whole: "In any society in this world, psychopathic individuals and some of the other deviant types create a ponerogenically active network of common collusions, partially estranged from the community of normal people... Their sense of honor bids them to cheat and revile that ‘other’ human world and its values at every opportunity. (…) Ideological Mask: The group's stated goals are often at variance with its true nature. Colorful literature and humanitarian values often mask its true motivations. Take, for example, the disparity between the CIA's stated goals, such as "Creating special, multidisciplinary centers to address such high-priority issues such as nonproliferation, counterterrorism, counterintelligence, international organized crime and narcotics trafficking, environment, and arms control intelligence", and its widespread use of terrorism, torture, overthrowing democratically elected governments, installing foreign dictators, drug trafficking, arms smuggling, etc. (…) When such individuals are treated as normal, more perceptive individuals will leave the group. When the group has become sufficiently pathological, members will either perceive its new direction in moral terms (e.g., “We must kill them all on the principle of justice and democracy”), or as a form of psychological terror. As more healthy people leave the group, taking on more counter-revolutionary positions, individuals with psychological anomalies join, removing their masks of sanity ever more often. Without adequate knowledge, normal individuals who have been ejected from such a group will suffer immensely, cut off from their original ideological reason for joining. Infected with unhealthy emotions and pathological material, they can assume positions opposite to those which they formerly followed. (…) In short, the patients have overtaken the asylum." – Prof. Dr. Andrzej M. Lobaczewski ("Political Ponerology")
