  • He has really impressive accuracy even in tough situations. Odunze, Moore, and Allen will make sure to reward it

Man did not know how ass Caleb's entire team was this year lmao

ive been going back and comparing prospects, watching old draft tape, etc etc. Caleb Williams on tape has the most translatable skillset to play at an extremely high level in the NFL he’s like slightly shorter Aaron Rodgers in terms of arm talent (i think he’s that good). Personality wise theyre kinda in the same vein too (lol) not everyone’s cup of tea but super talented. As for the other prospects, i love Maye’s potential but his game is loose and sloppy. Jayden Daniels has nice tape too but his build and running decisions scare me. JJ McCarthy i think will be the second best qb in this draft his tape is so damn solid and he’s gonna have the best coach outta all these guys most likely, his footwork is clean, he struggles with the deep ball a little but i think with reps he can fix that and underrated trait i love his character too. Nix seems like a career backup. and I like Penix his arm talent jumps out on tape the most but it seems like everything needs to be going perfectly for his game to prosper he’s kinda like your second ace on a baseball team, one night he might have 15 strikeouts and the next he’s pulled by the 5th inning.. im really not sure but id take a flyer on him in the 2nd round

11:23 The fact he had do deal with BS like this from his OL with even a chip from the RB and still is one of the best prospects in recent years is insane. How is it practically 6 versus 3 in pass protection and he's running for life?
  • I typed "Caleb Williams in-structure highlights" on YouTube and saw once he has the consistent protection, not holding onto the ball, and better ball security, he has the potential to be successful.

What I noticed with Caleb is that the middle of field he’s a sniper however for fades on the outside on a go ball he tends to overshoot or underthrow the receiver !

He is going to struggle with a lot of sacks and interceptions for half the season, then turn things around the 2nd half
  • This kid is special. The only downsides I see to his game is ball security, bad play action, and slight tendency to stare down reads. Other than that, he's the best QB prospect since Luck

Caleb's edge over Daniels rn is just pocket presence (he has a lil more arm strength too).. He is comfortable being uncomfortable back there and this is with a bad OL, and no top 5 WRs.. and he keeps his eyes down the field to make plays.. the bad plays frm Caleb came frm personnel issues and him trying to be superman.. Watching Daniels tape, a lot of the sacks he took was because he stared down reads/held the ball too long and I wouldnt say hes a run first guy frm watching the tape even tho he had 1k yrds rushing, Daniels just has to be good at knowing when the run is there and taking it without hesitation (gotta be able to protect and get down when in the open field too)... Both of these kids are good and will be ready day one.. You just have to put weapons around them and watch them grown into their game.. After that I got 3. Penix (Not worried about Injuries rn everyone gets hurt its a part of the game) 4. JJ 5. Maye.. JJ and Maye are interchangeable, somebody from this class will be a bust we wont know until their careers start, they all have talent, I think it comes down to what situation fits them the best, and who has the better team around them early in their careers...

I feel like there’s a lot of plays in this video an NFL defender would make
  • Normally programs rebuilds I would guess take 3 to 4 seasons for the HC to get his full blueprint on it. Lincoln Riley going in year 3, and they had to fire their DC last year because their entire defense is so bad starting from upfront. 2 of Caleb WRs and OL were also taken in the 6th & 7th rounds. His best WR during his Heisman year was former Pittsburgh transfer Jordan Addison, and they don't even have a consistent TE. Their RB went in the 3rd round higher than projected. USC isnt a powerhouse just yet, gotta wait on the next recruiting and transfer portal classes.

32:07 just about sums up his protection in 2023... they send three and two of those get to him. again.

Honestly, came away a bit underwhelmed with William's tape. While I don't think USC had a strong team or offensive line around him, some things really stood out to me: 1. He has happy feet, his footwork isn't always sound and doesn't keep his body square 2. While he he's not slow, he's not exactly fast or big. NFL defenses aren't letting him by them. 3. He can throw on the run, however he has a tendency to overthrow receivers outside the numbers which makes him susceptible to turnovers. 4. Not many tight window throws in this tape...will be interesting to see how he does against nuanced NFL defenses. 5. He struggled against top 25 competition, processes & decision making was slow against Utah. I might be judging him too harshly, he does have arm talent but I don't see a generational prospect here
  • @Irrelevant457
Both Mitchell and Worthy should've had 1300+ yards and double digit TDs Ewers just trash
  • Not many tight window throws. Hopefully, he gets better at that in the nfl.

5 minutes of this and I can tell you right now why Caleb's numbers weren't as good as they were in 2022 on one part! I don't have enough fingers and toes to count the times his receivers ran the laziest routes. I've never seen receivers jogging on a route; clear route or decoy route, I don't care, it's terrible!
