    Dont forget, if you use a roomy HDD or SSD for Ventoy you can set free space after the Ventoy partition using the Ventoy installer. Having other partition is better for storing software, SO images, backups, and tbe same Ventoy utility to "update" Ventoy again if it got corrupted without deleting anything. Also other partitions are not scanned for ISOs, so it saves boot time.

    Good stuff.. I have a few USB3 ultraflairs that I reserve for images, they are small and neat but a word of warning they can get very very hot - I still use my old 128GB Mushkin Ultra that have had for years for this sort of thing.. its big and heavy but its fast and dependable as its really an SSD in a heavy black usb stick

    Brian as usual great video, once I open Hirens I can't see my c:/ drive. Trying to clone external ssd to hard drive, one operator showed doing it in Hirens looked easy enough but not if c: \isni't there
