I've been going to this car show for many years, but my grandkids were in town & wanted to go to the coast, so I missed the Portland Transmission show this year. I appreciate that you recorded some of the cars, so I didn't miss the whole show. Thank you

The Portland Transmission show is one great way to spend the Saturday morning before Mothers' Day -- this wonderful event takes over the area with its central point being 10th and Hawthorne --

The Gasser style has been making a comeback since about 2011. With how expensive restoring and Hotrodding a car has become, you can make anything a Gasser on the cheap. The Frisco Chinatown Gassers is a very good example.
  • Some very interesting cars. My second car (1965) was a '58 Chevrolet Del Rey. Not many have survived until now. Mine was a 348 bored out to 370 c.i. Doubt it could hold a candle to that black one.
