  • It's not like he's getting any younger; he's going to get worse. Age related physical & mental decline is unavoidable.

It's concerning that Biden and Trump are the candidates a country of 350 million people can produce for the most critical office in the world.
  • "I'm not as good as I used to be" isn't good enough to be the most powerful man in the world. This issue won't go away. They need a different candidate.

50 million people watched that debate, there is no coming back from that. It's been a week and he still hasn't done a press conference where he takes questions and shows that he can think on his feet! It's crazy that the response to the debate has also been this bad!
  • we're so screwed here in America.... two senior citizens are our only options, one can't formulate a thought, the other one can't say anything without a lie in it.
  • If he knows how to tell the truth, can he tell the public what he is suffering from?
  • @Lennybird91
I live in a battleground state and it's imperative Biden gracefully steps down to allow a new generation to lead. Too much is on the line.

His condition? It's called 81 years old! Nothing wrong with that. Just needs to retire!! And to add to it - so does Trump!! We have 2 badly inadequate choices!
  • @smb123211
This is the craziest conversation in my life. We are seriously debating whether the president is in his right mind and can make decisions. If you have to ask the question, you have your answer. Seriously, folks are cheering that he got through the ABC interiew and sorta completed sentences and sorta answered questions. It is crazy.
  • @xorrior4438
The choice is clear. If we take our political system seriously, we need the candidates of our two-parties to be able to argue their case with accuracy and vigor.
  • @whypothetical
Fingers crossed. He needs to step down immediately and get someone in there who can beat Trump.
  • In 2019 candidate Biden was challenged on the age issue, and he acknowledged it by promising to be a one-term president. So why is even running again? And why doesn't the media raise this promise?
  • Set age limit for American democracy…both nominees r suffering from mental problem…mentally both r not fit…both r going to make America great to worse…
  • @caspar9794
Dems could turn a disadvantage into a clear advantage by nominating a younger, robust and easy to like person - Newsom springs to mind.
  • an interview with george steponallofus, not done live, that will be heavily edited before airing to the public, means NOTHING
  • The last thing I wanted to hear him say was that he wasn't giving up. Just step aside and let someone build some momentum.
