  • It finally hit me how you guys are funding the cottage restoration project...clearly, Lincoln is a model for the front cover of romance novels.
  • One of the things I love about your channel is that we never know what you will be up to, it’s always a surprise! Great photography!
  • There are many beautiful chateaus, but yours is surrounded by the most beautiful property and, it seems, not near to any noisy highways. I love that you give so much time to your beautiful grounds and gardens. They truly are just as important to the beauty of your property as the chateau itself.
  • The dogs are just living the life, prancing around as you both work so hard. And the cats watch intently from a distance. The garden is going to be beautiful.
  • The family with a cat in every window will have a beautiful walled garden. So perfect. Thank you. ❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉😊
  • Thank you so much for normalizing anxiety and stating that you struggle with it on a regular basis. That is very comforting to me.
  • Amanda and Lincoln, your chateau and garden are glorious, especilly in spring. Lucky you, but it's also a joy for us to watch how you are developing the walled garden - and retaining your sense of humour during the process. Well done, and keep going please.
  • That’s it, it’s official! You are now the ONLY château folks that I follow on youtube. I unsubscribed from all the rest. I just love your pacing, your content, your vibe. Nothing else compares. Your garden is looking fabulous. Love Enzo the foreman :) he did a good job supervising you both. Greetings from 🇨🇦
  • There’s just No giving up for Lincoln! He’s so clearly focused.. in the rain. 🌧️ 😂 So much going on you two! 👍
  • I really like the bracelet ! My son used to bring me various nature made finds, when he was little, we would stick them all in this cool & huge twig wreath. It was really unique and displayed all his finds. He's 33 now and still an outdoor guy. Created a hiking group that is growing and growing, they go every Sunday, all over our area. Sincerely in San Diego California
  • The fig tree, the lavender, the alyssum are beautiful. Hard work , well done you two. I love how Enzo stays with you, such a sweet and loyal pup. Love your videos, the garden is looking great ! Can’t wait to see the beams!
  • If you really want to know how it looks, if it’s all symmetrical, use your drone. From what I can see on the video, it looks terrific.
  • You are so fortunate to have a walled garden to keep the deer out. Petunias would be eaten immediately in my garden. The herd of mule deer ate my little lilac bush and my geraniums that I thought they did not like. Your garden is beautiful! How cool that you can use trees from your property to rebuild the floor of the cottage! Your blogs are always a treat!
  • Ah, so glad to see lavender! We planted a 'hedge' of 14 culinary plants, alternating a darker and lighter variety, and it gives such a huge harvest - more than we can ever shortbread or London Fog our way through in a year. There is nothing more relaxing, pleasant and anxiety-calming (yeah, me too) than spending a few hours pulling buds off and having that scent all around and on my hands. (While eating lavender shortbreads and sipping on a London Fog, of course.) Those plants and the fig tree may make that the most scrumptious bed in your garden.
  • You will LOVE the black lace elderberry. I grow it here in Virginia zone 7b and it is a ridiculously easy plant. You can prune it into any shape you want each season but save some of the cuttings because it roots almost as easily as willow. I just plunk a few in the ground and see what happens! The flowers appear pink at first but will grow and spread into large plate-shaped clusters of mostly white flowers. Really hardy and versatile. Loved this episode! Didn’t want it to end!
  • Hello from Texas, I'm so blown away that plant prices are so affordable compared to here. That fig tree would be around $80.00 easily. And your lavender is around $25- $30. Great Job on everything! Of course it helps to have an agreeable husband.
  • You have really chosen such a lovely property to call home. I know it’s a lot of work, but you are creating such a paradise! Your garden is turning into a wee bit of Versailles! 😁🇨🇦
