Good evening from wisconsin, good job you two! My grandson loves fishing! He so funny ,he never wants to stop fishing! You are all an awesome family!

@ArmsFamilyHomestead Daniel... while I love watching your whole family and all the animals I just have to say there is something soooo special about watcing the time you spend with Houston (and Jacobi). You guys have a very special bond. Houston is so happy and well grounded/behaved. It's obvious that there is probably no place he'd rather be if not hanging with you. You have amazing patience and calm in all that you do and I love how you take the time to incorporate teaching moments into everything. These are such special times and everything you are doing now is going to be part of his foundation as a father down the road. The memories you are creating with him are going to be shared for generations to come! I tear up almost every time I watch you two.

Houston throws the net perfectly. Great job.Houston will have so many stories to tell his kids when he gets older of the great times with his Dad and all the adventures they had together..Memories are so important. Your family is truly blessed.

I love that boy! He’s the same age as my grandson! I wish my grandson had the opportunities that Houston has with you, Daniel! I enjoy watching you two fish and hunt! It reminds me of when I was a kid and I would go with my Daddy! Keep making those precious memories! Love and blessings from this old Bama girl!❤❤❤

I have my doubts the gar is going to live much longer, but who knows! Thank you for another great video! Daniel, your editing skills have really improved over the years. It makes the video so much more professional with the "B" roll shots and music. Keep up the great work!

I cant imagine aa more fortunate child than one that is born into a family like yours. The choices you made to put your family first in everything you do is admirable. You have retained so many family values that most of our society has lost. Thank you to the entire Arms Family.

Love and prayers go your way! Love you all! Thanks for all you do!

The long perch @22:40 is what we call a Michael fish, when I was younger my brother Michael seemed to always catch them where they were a little bigger than what you caught.
-
Man, I can't tell you how satisfying it was to watch Houston get a quick dip in the creek. Loved this one. Looking forward to that live bait fishing contest.
-
I love walking the creek with you guys. Always a treat. As for the gar raccoons gotta eat too. Circle of life.
-
So I guess Houston has more viewers than Opie did in Mayberry.
-
Houston is pretty good with net ! An so glad to see you making quality memories with him!❤

Had to look at a Gar fish. Very interesting: June 15, 2023 - During the Eocene Epoch (56 million ... ago), gars lived in Europe and North America. One reason for their survival is thought to be that their relatively large, yolk-filled, greenish eggs are highly toxic to prospective predators. The eggs are laid in shallows in the spring. The hatchlings grow remarkably fast, feeding from the start on the hatchlings of other fish and even minnows,
