I like that our tax dollars are being used to have empty seats while debates are held on the floor. I think everyone should attend or you lose your right to vote and hold office.
  • @gaseousclay6126
We pay for every other countries budgets, and then we are left with nothing. Why don’t these countries fight their own wars pay for their own stuff?
  • @Heavyisthecrown
Cut the government by 50% then a 15% flat tax on everyone. Anything that doesn’t get covered by that gets cut! Fuck this. The government shouldn’t be the biggest employer in America 😢

Did you really expect anything else? we have so many rinos in the house and senate, we need to do a cleanup
  • @cherylatkins9225
We are so over taxed. If the government has that much to give away, we should be able to keep more of our money.
  • @Mackahroney
I can hear the hurt in his voice. There is truly evil people out there and voting people are making excuses for then poisoning us, we are slowly dying
  • @TechM3X
I do respect Chip Roy being able to keep it 100% real although we might disagree on certain specifics of his positions but in terms of fiscal/monetary policy, I agree 100% that we are 34 trillion in the hole and as such, we simply do not have the money to be funding wars or balloon the defense budget to over 800 billion dollars. It's time to get real.
  • AMEN Chip, Every aspect they are having their hands in and its not needed by big daddy government. Let the people regulate themselves as we did years ago.
  • @augustine737ah
Empty seats???? Pink slips should be placed on the seats, and if our representative is there, they can keep their job! If not, they can hit the road!!!
  • There should be a Bill that says the tax money can only be used to help the American ppl !!!!!
  • @marythomas3982
Rep Chip Roy is telling the truth about the motivations of the people he works with in both parties. He has the solutions if the Republicans can stand together and could convince the Democrats to think about our country first above the greed from corporation donations and their demands and of their personal power to remain in office. We need laws that forbid corporate donations or insider information to these politicians or their party. We know that will never happen. They might have to live on just their salaries.

They've been corrupting kids from school for a long time that's why
  • @s.mic.3329
Why do these individuals always speak to all those open seats? Where are these people that are supposed to be representing us for our taxes?
  • @ronnietatum4627
Damn, Chip Roy, what a speech! Never has so much truth spoken on the House floor! Man you rock! You're a true Texan and a statesman that should go down in history as a man with a pure heart and love for our country and the people of The United States of America. No bullcrap!
  • Thank you so much for this. It lterally made me cry seeing you stand up not just for Texans but for all of us. Will keep you in my prayers. May God richly bless you!

Criminals, ALL paid for, and we the people suffer for it

Greed. That’s what is making it hard for American families to live. Corporations own politicians. They make policies that benefit corporations over American citizens. Corporations are bringing in record profits by keeping prices high and gouging an already struggling American population. They get massive tax breaks while refusing to increase pay.
  • @gusward2568
You are wrong on one thing Mr.Roy, WE are not doing to ourselves, GOVERNMENT IS DOING IT TO US THE AMERICAN PEOPLES!!!
  • It should be mandatory for the entire Congress be in attendance for this speech. The facts and the truth are just that, and they need to respond accordingly through action!
