In the distant future, most of the population lives in poverty in an area known as the Inland. There is an elite group, though, that is chosen to live in a virtual paradise, the Offshore. Every year, each 20-year-old gets a chance to make it to the island paradise by taking a series of tests. Only three percent of the candidates succeed and qualify to leave the impoverished Inland area. One of the newest residents of the Offshore is Michele, a naive young woman with no family who has a strong sense of justice.

  • Joana was arguably the most dangerous person in this exam The way she manipulated and kinda controlled the progress of the game was appealing..she didn't talk much ..she didnt panicked at any point in the movie.. Calm and collected and her very last trick was interesting

Dystopian fiction at it's finest, such a well made show! It's one of those rare gems that gets the whole moral "grey area" thing just right, highly recommended

“the movie is set far in the future.” 2030 is 8 years away-

The fact that this was made in brazil and that brazil was also having the same problem except it doesnt really have "determining" but instead its based on your fate theres literally 2 sides in the country and the same thing also applies to almost all of the countries including rich ones. its a sad reality of the world we live in but sometimes its also a way to prevent anything bad happening
  • @clickmexd
Seen this series like 10 times! 3% is so fking good

I didnt know about this movie, but just by being Brazilian, i felt kinda nervous the whole time... It talks a lot about our reality. The Process would be the (ENEM) National Exam of The Middle School, which will determine if you'll get into a university or not. But it also takes the whole "Will you also get a job?" Into context. Funny enough, only 16% of people in my university actually completes it, its quite hard to leave poverty/middle class. At least its possible with university, tho

“Fernando is Goddamn Sherlock Holmes, Rafael objects because he is an idiot” he says it with a straight face it’s hilarious
  • @basicallytrqsh
Actually, Joana didnt steal the coin while they were arguing (you probably know this though cause it was explained and shown in the show). When she was putting the coin she stole at the beginning back, she mimicked placing the coin in the bag when she really just hid it in her hand

Is it me or can this guy kill us with his humour😂
  • I loved this series. Thank you for covering it! Hopefully more people will watch it in the future. Yeah Joana is insane.
  • I am so glad this series was covered here! I will admit, the first season will always be my favorite and I feel later seasons lose sight of the initial goal, but it's still interesting to explore the differences between the Inland and the Offshore and the world of 3%. Rafael and Joana were my favorites in the first season, though I didn't know I could truly hate a character until we were introduced to Gloria in Season Two.
  • @Buxus

  • @LunaMapping_KR

  • @kells9492
3% is actually a very good Netflix show dealing with themes so basic to what it means to be a human empathy, survival, justice, morality this show has very few reviews like altered carbon
  • @TheNuno2009
this is only the first episodes . it would be cool if you did a whole season hehe
  • @aintnobodylikeu
