Me: i don't feel good Therapist: do you want to be with the black timbs and black hoodies?
  • @dsrree
It's crazy how he comes out with this track and almost feels ashamed he made it when he just needed an outlet for his problems in the only way he knew how. Now it's almost 30 years later and if you wanna rap about killing yourself, no one judges and it's probably a banger.

Im in love with this song, the fact that the song is a call with his friend trying to save him and this is his goodbye call, signifying that the person on the other end meant a lot to him, the “adlibs” of the guy on the other end responding to him. beautiful song
  • To be clear, this is from the height of old school rap, it came out in 1994.
  • The craziest part is he was a CHILD he was 19-20 when he wrote it and 21 when it released feeling this way
  • @Atm8y
One of the darkest songs written of all time. what a classic. RIP BIG
  • @PsycheDolo
He said this reminds me of Old School Rap…… It is Old School rap 😂😂😂
  • @trexo3263
Loved the reaction Tom, you said it reminded you of old school music - you’re right. You may be familiar with Biggie but if not he was killed in 1997 only a year or two after making all this music about him dying. Biggie and Tupac were the rap legends of the 90’s. Biggie is like the OG emo rapper, he was one of the first to rap about the dark side of his mental health at his level / fame

I was 22 when this album came out. His reaction to the gunshot, was the same one I had the first time I heard this song. 😢
  • @ld3050
“I got the tan Timbs, not the black ones” 😂
  • @NatalieR24
one of my fave BIG songs!!! It’s so raw and intimate, you’re right there with him, you know? He’s a really influential old school rapper, huge in the 90’s but was murdered during the peak of his career. So many fantastic songs of his for you to check out!!!
  • @xjnpng
Probably my favorite song of all time. It's funny how my favorite song can be so hard to listen but it really is. The emotions in this is real.
  • @kyleschwartz.
That’s how old school rap is, meaningful even if it was an aggressive song it would still have better wordplay than most today. This songs a gem.
  • He actually wrote about things he saw. He told his mother not to listen to his music because “its not for anybody over 35”😂 granted he was murdered at 24… a kid who became a man earlier than he shouldve had to. Netflix has his documentary “i got a story to tell” and its a great watch
  • IVE BEEN WAITING LIKE TWO MONTHS FOR THIS!!!! THANK YOU FOR TAKING MY REQUEST
  • I’ve told myself and probably will happen, once my parents pass I will unalive myself. They’re the only reason I still haven’t left
  • @57kwest
Do you guys think he's ready for Immortal Techs' ' "Dance with The Devil"?
  • @raze4555
this man felt the true side of hip hop so quickly, respect to old people like him
  • @MahmoudRadi11
Its one of the few songs that makes close my eyes and start swinging, and somehow i become so calm
