    A few years ago, I started seeing Ethiopian Opal around and wasn’t sure if it would measure up to the quality of Lightning ridge. I bought some rough from an African couple in my town who own a Malachite mine and it’s pretty and has a nice consistent glitter throughout usually. They also had black opal and that’s veryyyy nice. Indonesian isn’t bad either
