Man, time flies like an arrow! (And fruit flies like a banana). When I said it had been two years ago that I did that 4-5 inch sand leveling the first time, it was actually last year! And then add on top of that the sand we did after this grass was new sod 2 years ago…. It’s a lot of sand. It was a muddy mess when I started and now it drains just as well as the rest of my yard!

I got to spread some sand in some low spots in my bermuda grass recently. My neighbor had some sand left over from spreading it on low spots in his yard and he asked me if I wanted it 😂. He was up unloading the sand on a tarp in the back of his truck in 10 minutes. I have good neighbors

Very nice! I am in NE Arkansas and installed 1600 yards of Tahoma 31 last September but it’s pretty unlevel. When would be the best time to start a sand leveling project? Is it too late this year?

Will you try the same if there is not irrigation? Or how will you do it if you didn’t have irrigation?
  • I could imagine his wife checking the bank account. How have you spent $10,000 on sand last month?

What brand is that safety green shirt you are wearing? I print, wondering for a customer.
