SDS gave us CRACKED free 99’s

My issue is that we've only got 3 weeks to use all these cards. The closer it gets to S2 I find myself being less interested in the cards. 4 wild card spots is nice but it's unlocked through the xp reward path so they're time gated. Then the same issue with the collection reward 99s. By the time I even get the first one I'm gonna have 2 weeks before I can't use it. Having to buy cheap base round cards just to get enough cards for the collection rewards is awful. I enjoy the power creep but their execution of it is pretty awful thus far. My bad for ranting cause there is some solid free cards in this content but this content model is killing my interest in said cards.

How do you literally have the same problem you had last year! We have 3 weeks to use these cards and then it’s back to nothing? This shits crazy

I mean if they add a week to week event run where maybe this week it’s all Monthly cards and Topps now teams that would’ve been super dope add a actionable chance at that Marte but more pack exclusivity

Why give us a player in a free pack as opposed to just making a simple fun program. Offline is so dead there aint shit to do other than mindless play vs CPU counting stats

Better start flipping them cards again to make some money so we can buy them packs..

Might as well just boot up 23 and use my end game god squad with better versions of Mookie and Adley. By the time (or if) I acquire these it’ll be time for season 2 anyway 🤷‍♂️

I hope they scrap the sure shit next year… we dont need sets they just need to have a year long overall creep like every other sports game and not get 99s by July like in 22

Im not a fan of the monthly award programs. Not easy for a casual ish player. Requires too much offline grinding. Overall though solid content drop. Ill pick up some of the cards once they drop in price.

Only issue i has was mookies power vs left being low enough to make him a contact hitter. I feel like thats something that shouldnt be a thing we need to grind for with a 99 lightning card. Otherwise this drop was great
