You could put an air bubbler running air in it and it should speed things up

I tried a similar method just by using white vinegar on some burnt copper and it had a reaction and turned it green, trial and error ๐,your method turned out brilliant, ill be trying it out thank you for sharing, ๐ subbed ๐

When you are done put steel in the liquid and any copper that has dissolved will cement out you can just wipe it off the steel

I did a large batch a few weeks ago, you really got to rinse it well and dry it well, because it goes back to green super fast!, I didn't dry well enough and had to do the batch all again

Do a side by side with cleaned and bare bright, it's still darker! You just took it from #2 to #1. No yard would consider that bare bright.
