High-Power LASER On US Aircraft Carrier SHOCKED The World! FULL Alert!
It’s a conundrum. The US Navy can easily stop the most powerful missiles in their tracks with ease but is gravely threatened by little, slow, stealthless kamikaze drones. While this is almost funny, it comes at a very dangerous time. The Houthis continue to attack the US on the Red Sea, and in response, the US Navy must now do the impossible — the US Navy must add laser weapons to its already formidable aircraft carrier fleet.

  • God bless America ❤❤❤❤❤I love this video awesome information thanks.

I used to work on production CO2 lasers. 75KV starter voltage that dropped to 35KV once the beam coalesced. We used it to burn precision holes in drip irrigation hoses. That's the basics, but turn that same technology into taking down drone swarms. Fun stuff.
  • In 1998 I was inspecting a concrete pour for a pad behind 4 security gates, first two civilian, last two military. This concrete pad was for the first stage of four, for a ground based anti missile laser system. So we had lasers since the last century. Just think how far we have come in 26 years. Rifles in 15 years I bet.
  • Seen a part of U.S. Navy is awesome. They rule the sea and real air and the ground powerful country USA.

Im glad for the improvement, but we need 10MW to be truly effective.
  • @qownson4410
10MW would create a small explosion on anything it touches. It would create explosive evaporation of any metal it hits. Like a bullet hole without a bullet.
  • To write that the power of a laser is 100 KWT can only be done by US-Americans. Everywhere else in the world the (mostly legal) is 100kW.
  • A German Navel frigate has sailed to the Red Sea in order to uphold International Law relevant to "Freedom of Navigation ". The German warship will also be in the Red Sea for training purposes.

Million dollar missiles to eliminate thousand dollar drones?Once again, the US Navy has been unprepared for asymmetric warfare. What happened to WW2radar-aimed Bofor shrapnel air burst cannons on the destroyer screen?

There are now 13 Carriers in service. One in standby. Two will be retired to standby. The US will ultimately have 13 of these new Ford class Carriers and 3 older Nimitz class Carriers on standby.
