She mentioned being bad at the math for conversion rates when looking at that 20,000 yen melon at the beginning. For anyone interested in the conversion rates: For the last decade 100 yen has been extremely close to $1 USD (more like 90 cents but close enough), so that melon would usually be about $200. However, in the last year or so the yen has been declining, and is now at 100 yen = 75 cents. So that melon is currently about $150.
