Marvel’s REAL Plans for a NEW DOCTOR DOOM (Not RDJ)

I’m excited but I wish “Kang Dynasty”, was still happening in some form or another.

If Doom doesn't use sorcery, that would be the biggest mistake the MCU ever made. That would be worse than Ralph Boner and that dumb Mandarin twist from Iron Man 3.

they wasted years setting up Kang as the big bad just to dump it all. only way they can make up for this is for Kang to return in the next Multiverse Saga after the Mutant Saga

I think I know the reason why RDJ was casted as Doctor Doom: there just isn't enough time to introduce a comic-accurate, Latverian Doom and explore his relationship with Mephisto and Reed Richards so late into the Multiverse Saga. So instead, they have decided to make Doom a variant of an already established character so that audiences could get attached to him easier rather than introducing a whole new villain with such a rich backstory and history with the Fantastic Four that would require more than just two or three movies to develop.

Marvel Studos did Kang the Conqueror dirty and are not ready for Dr. Doom in the MCU.

I was at the FYC for LOKI season 1. I spoke with the head writer Michael Waldron and I mentioned Dr. Doom. And he also confirmed that Doom was gonna plugged in.

I still am excited for Avengers, doomsday, and Secret Wars but I still wish Dr. Doom was a villain in his own saga, and I believe that Robert Downey Jr. is going to be playing a variant of Tony Stark. He won’t be the real Doom

I think RDJ Doom will also have mastered Magic. No reason he couldnt do tech and magic with a different upbringing.

Victor Von Doom probably saw an advantage since Spiderman: No Way Home.

At first, I didn't get this. Now it's starting to make sense. It's a dr. Doom variant rather than the main one. I think this one will die at the end of Secret Wars, and then when the new main universe is created, the new main Victor van doom will be in it. Seeing Robert Downy Jr.'s character die again on screen will be hard to witness, but I'm pretty sure it'll happen. Favorite Hero: Batman

So they're going to have a "variant" of Doom be defeated in secret wars and THEN setup the "real" Doom? SO BASICALLY THE SAME SHIT THAT RUINED KANG!?

It's almost surreal seeing Cillian's name floating for Doom. Waayyyyy back before Oppenheimer etc i had mentioned on social media that Cillian Murphy would be great as Doom. I actually remember tweeting that same thing to Warren at some point. When i saw Cillian in "In Time" his mannerisms just gave me Doom vibes and I always said if Doom were to show up in Marvel, Cillian would be perfect. To now see his name come up for Doom by others makes me smile.

In the comics Iron Man has never fully transitioned into a villain in the Marvel Universe. While he has faced moral dilemmas and made questionable decisions, his core character remains heroic. So tired of Hollywood ruining the original comic book characters

If he playing the infamous iron man, although a twist from the comic, that might be a good direction to take the story, but the smartest and more the more comic accurate choice would be superior iron man.
