Hugh Sr.’s finale made me sob. My mom’s dealing with Alzheimer’s so seeing him have moments of lucidity where he recognized Hughie just broke me.

I lost my grandmother last Wednesday. I provided her with hospice care for 6 years. I was with her every single day and was with her when she passed that night. Simon Pegg shattered me to pieces in this episode. I guess it was all just still so fresh.. but I have a feeling I would have cried anyway.
