  • Gil was a genius beyond our comprehension, and we are blessed that he shared his passion and depth with us through his amazing poetry and music. He remains ‘ahead of his time’ and as relevant and needed as ever in 2022.

Wise, man ...his words and thoughts are as relevant today as they have ever been 🎉❤
  • Gil was given the name “the most dangerous musician alive” I believe we can all begin to comprehend how his mind made him dangerous to showing and saying truth where lies stood firm. His mind if of all else supreme without doubt
  • He's got such a consciousness about him. Look at his eyes. Listen to his words, his lack of hatred for hateful people, his middle path demeanor. Such a beautiful display of human love.
  • That statement on Baltimore.....he was about the only black person in Baltimore was a slight dig to the people he had to encounter. This cut deep to me because after Wilberforce I joined up with University of Baltimore for my masters and being new there I felt the same way. Lord bless the people of that city, they need it.

I’m sure it’s a great challenge to attempt an interview with someone. I can only imagine the challenge to sitting down with a Profit, Genius and Brother. Gil by far is the smartest and sharpest person in any room that he’s in. Love you Gil👊🏿

What we teach and do not teach our children REALLY matters most. The changes have to first get traction in the way we think about our community and our neighbors. Then, if we can insist in JUSTICE in all things of government, change can be resurrected, in spite of criminals intrusions.
