Cool to know the jump thing is legitimate. Felt like I was going faster spamming jump, my teammates said I was going crazy lol.

Fun fact, you keep momentum when jumping Into one of the vertical water walls so you can do a quick icarus dash to start zooming through the water in the final encounter of the dungeon

You can also shoulder charge and eager edge through the walls of water

Popping bubble as you go into water actually drops you down the fastest as it has the fastest drop speed of any ability and won't consume your bubble. Mix that in with a shield bash as you run into water and you can move through the areas signifcantly faster

Also if your amplified with speed boost when you initially get in the water you'll have a second or 2 with the speed boost active

you can also do any sort of skate into waterwalls and you keep the momentum.

Use the terrain to your advantage too while jumping and landing on slanted bumps to boost off them bit by bit something I got from Halo back in the day for speed running things.

If you shatterskate into a water zone, or jump into it whilst amplified, your momentum carries. I use this to traverse the parkour section in the dungeon, and get between the water zones in the final boss fight

Also if you on titan and warlock do the boost of your jump just as you enter water wall you gain huge momentum for the initial entry

I actually was able to zoom right through some water after I found you could throw tangles through water. I don't remember if you stay grappled, but I do know you get a HUGE boost. I was using the new warlock aspect too

If you use eager edge at a vertical entrance it will also propel you forwards

If you're amplified and jump right as you go into a water wall/area you can carry a lot of speed and distance for some time after you have entered the water area

Dang it i was wondering how do i swim or jump or float higher an move faster underwater. I will definitely be focusing a set of armor spec specifically into mobility while trying out all the movement tricks everyone has mentioned here.
