I was at Vehas for the elite 8 watch party and stormed the court. Turned to my friend and said we are going to Houston to watch the Aztecs live in the final four. THOUSANDS off SDSU fans largely outnumbered UCONN, Miami, and FAU. When the Lamont Butler clutch shot to seal a national title game appearance....we all went ballistic! One more game SDSU!I believe that we will win!

As SDSU donors and supports (and fans!) - we were there at Viejas Arena to experience it all and it was absolutely insane!!!! We love our city and congratulations Aztecs on winning and heading to the National Championships! #TMG #MartinGroupSD #GoAztecs #SDSU

The quickest move before a shot I have ever seen....
  • @Lawomenshoops
I bet the camera person and reporter were watching the final seconds instead of having the camera on the fans/crowd when the game winning basket was made!
  • Wow. That was the most robotic-read sports report I've heard in a long time. 😬 Congratulations Aztecs.

The Butler did it, let's hope he can do it again

Don't get your hopes up people, this is a San Diego sports team after all, be happy they got this far
  • The SDSU Aztecs' dreamcatcher's going to catch a NCAA Men's National Basketball Championship!

20 years ago when it was cox arena you could go to the games practically for free and sit wherever you wanted first come first serve. No one would be there the team was nothing look at us now!!!

I’m unsuccessfully trying to pick myself out from the crowd.
