Play Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus: play.tacticusgame.com/luetin Making this video was so inspiring it actually convinced me to begin planning a Blackshields force that got ‘lost in the warp’ only to be recovered by a niche Inquisition sect - who I am also making as part of a Militarum force. Excited to show and talk about all of that later in the year? More new stuff coming soon - if you enjoyed please appease ALGO - :face-blue-smiling:LIKE :yt: and tell me your choice of other legendary noted characters from the Heresy?

"Too angry to die" is honestly a very accurate description of several things in 40K.
  • Imagine you're surviving loyalists emperor's children space marine. Your choices are Ally with chaos or be hunted down by the imperium. One day while moving from hiding place to hiding place, your approached by astarted wearing all black with no chapter emblems asking you if you want a second chance to serve the emperor.

The guy refused the butchers nails and was still the most angry world eater!
  • There's actually some real world relevance to the Black Shields. In English culture at least, having your coat of arms, which was typically displayed on a shield, painted over in black was a sign that you had done something to bring you or your family into dishonour (it was something like that, I can't remember exactly). My family name has two black shields in Lancaster Castle, though I've never been able to find out what it was my distant ancestors may have done to deserve such a thing

His fate in Saturnine had me in awe, smashing Abaddon's face in! The passage from Abaddon's perspective is amazing

I used to think it would be impossible for a 40k channel to hit a million subs. But if anyone can do it, luetin can

I really do love the Blackshields as a concept and find them very interesting. I do feel though that enough Loyalists from the traitor legions stayed loyal that Guilliman being an amazing bureaucrat and master of logistics was not just able to shield many of the Loyalists from traitor legions but used the Second Founding to cover the trails of many of them turning them into chapters that are "Successors" from the Ultramarines' legion. Not only saving a f*ck tonne of man power, but also giving these Marines a place they could belong in the loyal Imperium. It would also help explain a lot of things that are basically traits from the old legions that somehow showed up as chapters but are labeled Ultramarine successors.

After a day at the hospital with a very sick family member, it is nice to come home to a Leutin video and let myself be just be taken into the world of The Grim Darkness of Far Future. Thank you for taking someone close to a breakdown and being able to cheer them up with a simple video.
  • @Deathwing-Y2K
The Riven Hound. One of the best characters in 30k. I love the idea of running an army of black shields/shattered legions.
  • @MemekingJag
commenting for the algorithm, i have horrible insomnia and these are amazing to listen to as I'm getting to sleep, thank you!!!

A World Eater that still retains their oaths, honor, and loyalty bested their father in all ways. Someone like Arrian Zorzi had the Nails and yet still stood apart from his bloodthirsting brothers...he wasn't exempt from madness, but still had the semblance of composure of the old Legion and the Apothecaries. Remember Istvaan.

We love you Luetin. The Emperor's blessing upon ye. The whole segment 30-33 min made me cry..
  • Your channel is one of the very few, where i get genuinely excited every time you drop a video, the quality and effort you put in, sets the bar. Keep up the excellent work, good sir. The emperor protects!.
  • Going through it right now in life, and your videos and 40k in general bring me such comfort. Thank you for posting, I really love your lore videos.
