Denzel killed this part as the lawyer, but one also has to respect the level of dedication Tom Hanks put into this part. He looked so thin, so grey, like patients suffering from terminal illneses do. It's so heartbreaking.

Bruce Springsteen played an incredible song for this movie. Fantastic film, incredible talent, phenomenal song.

This movie will never fade, never lose relevance, never fail to reach humanity and give us a reality check.

This movie always makes me cry. The unnecessary discrimination and hardship we put upon each other.

When this movie came out, my best friend ever in life had just passed from AIDS. Early on, this discrimination was real. Sitting through this movie in a theatre nearly destroyed me but it was, and still is, the gut-wrenching truth about how people with AIDS were treated in the 1980s.

Two of the finest actors around, Denzel Washington/Tom Hanks🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
  • IN MY VIEW Denzel Washington is one of the GREATEST MASTERS OF ACTING. He has earned great respect.
  • Antonio Banderas and Denzel Washington seemingly never age

This movie hit me twice as hard. My father was dying from cancer and faced discrimination at his job. Eventually dying. This movie also taught me a humbling lesson about how I felt in the presence of someone who had aids. It got me over that fear and stigma. I cried like a baby in the theater lobby after watching this movie. Bravo to Denzel and Tom!!!!

More than 30 years old and except for the aging of the actors, it looks like it could have been filmed a month ago. Incredible movie.
  • No way that Denzel didn't deserve the Oscar for this performance. He truly earned it!

God bless Tom and Denzel for making this movie.

80s & 90s movies were the peak. Just like 90s music was the peak.
  • Truly one of the best movies ever made, a gem in the crown of American cinema.
