First of all, Happy Woman's Day. Hadar, by the way, you solved another of my doubt: Woman vs Women. Thanks a lot !!!
  • @MB-ts8oq
The "A" that changes into an "E" doesn't affect the pronunciation, but the unchangeable "O" in the writing that changes in the speaking! English is a crazy!
  • @lizzzzk9319
I had to come here because I thought I WAS CRAZY I keep hearing people use Woman for everything like on tiktok and YouTubers and I’m like wtf is women not a word anymore?!! Lmao
  • @gammaraider
I hear many youtubers (mostly australian) pronounce "women" the same as "woman". To me it sounds weird but it's done quite often. Anyone else notice this? Is that a common pronounciation anywhere?
  • @343RuinedHalo
I hear so many Americans fail to pronounce Women in its plural form. I had to search for this to confirm I wasn't crazy.
  • @OrdinaryG33K-SF
SOOO many people confuse these two, I'm finding! Folks really don't know when to use one vs the other. So annoying! I even seen it in print, in prominent publications: "She was an amazing women". Drives me NUTS! Thanks for helping people straighten this out! 👍🏾
  • @katec9893
Thank you for pronouncing this correctly! I keep hearing people pronounce both words the same way and it's so weird. I'm wondering if it's a new linguistic change or something people in other countries have always done? I'm in England and everyone here pronounces woman as woman, and women as wimmin.
  • @ahmedgorman5970
Actually I think that I've always been a very good pronouncer , but never knew the difference between these two . Thank you so much for the clarification 😊.
  • @englishhi54
OMG! the way you explain things, is just so perfect and clear. the others should learn from you.
  • @RonieRuas
Thanks! And congratulations for your Day!
  • @faunachurch431
Great info! Love the visuals. Will share this video with my students.
  • @NSHM122
Thank you! Showing my age here, but I’ve heard so many younger people pronounce both words as the single ‘woman’. I’m wondering when this changed?
  • @UndrcoverCactus
Interesting, I never knew that was how they were supposed to be pronounced. I’m a native speaker and I pronounce both words the same (I think I might even pronounce the a vs e slightly differently, but it’s practically unnoticeable)
  • @cotygv
    Great video! Happy Women's Day!!
  • Thank you Hadar. I learned from your video four years after you had posted it. That's why it is called man lives in his deeds not in years. I could learn about you a few days ago. Now I regularly see your videos and try to learn from those. I am a big fan of you from Bangladesh.
